Can handle unthinned latex, October 3, 2011 By This review is from: Graco Magnum 261830 210ES Hi-Boy Cart Airless Paint Sprayer (CD-ROM) I bought the 210 Graco because it is rated for the size 21 spray tip. I realize that's the maximum tip size this pump can supply, but as I only plan to use a size 19 tip this unit is perfect. It sprays unthinned exterior latex great with the 19 tip and the pump is only turned up about half way. So I am not pushing this pump to it's limits by any means. My personal preferred tip for spraying exterior latex is the 519. The 5 means a 10 inch spray pattern while the 19 controls the amount of paint supplied (along with the pump setting).
According to the tech at Graco, one big difference between this sprayer and the next one down in price is that the 210 has a pump that will last far longer than the 190 pump.
The filters on the 210 are easily accessible and easy to clean. One is on the side of the pump and one in the spray gun. Neither requires tools to remove. You can use a 60 mesh filter for thick latex and a 100 mesh filter for oil based products and stains, like for... Read more

I would never pay list/retail price but I am not a pro....If I were a pro it would be worth list/retail cost for this level of sprayer. For a real painter, well it is not a commercial machine but it is close. Does not have the pump for heavy stuff but it also does not cost $3000-$4000 so what can I say. I was not going to buy a $300 cheapo with a max tip of 15....they die early and don't spray the paint right. This thing can easily compete with a pro machine for typical latex/enamel coatings.
I got lucky at big orange with an old 210es floor model that had missing parts for $323 plus about $200 so $623 for a new unit...not bad. The $200 additional cost also included an extension wand and extra tip that would not have come with it anyway.....great deal and great sprayer. This will last my lifetime easy....for a part time pro / handy man this should last 5 + years easy and more w rebuilds.

It seems very rugged. Intake is just the right length and comes with hose hookup for easy cleaning. I mostly bought it because it's a Graco and am sick and tired of down time because my pump is broken.
