Better than I imagined., August 5, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Graco Magnum XR9 (232750) Electric Airless Paint Sprayer (Misc.) The Gracco sprayer arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. The dvd instruction disk that came with the sprayer was detailed and made assembling and using the sprayer easy. I used the sprayer to spray solid stain on the exterior of my new 220 square foot addition. I sprayed the entire addition twice in less than an hour each coat. It would have taken at least a full day to roll and brush each coat. Cleaning the sprayer and buckets takes about 20-30 minutes. The sprayer worked flawlessly. I am extremely pleased with this sprayer and would highly recommend it.

We have had this sprayer for 13 years and it has been used and abused but its still going strong just used it today to paint the outside of a 2 story house, if we ever need to replace it we would be glad to purchase another thank you GRACO

Love this sprayer. I have a Devilbiss pressurized paint system but the airless is much better. Too much overspray with the pressurized air system. You still need to papermask ceilings, windows, etc but the whole room isn't filled with paint residue with the airless system.
I don't have experience with other manufacturers or models but the Graco XR9 works great. It is simple to prime and clean. I didn't practice with it, just went straight to painting. I was renovating a rental property. I didn't screen the paint as suggested but still didn't have any issues. I had a couple of tip clogs with a cheap as I could find ceiling paint. That was no problem as I flipped the tip around, did a quick flush and was off and painting again. I ran about 10 gallons of the ceiling paint through the sprayer. I then ran about 25 gallons of a better wall paint without a single tip clog.
