Don't waste your money, August 1, 2010 By This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned Ryobi ZRFPR300 Duet Power Paint System With Roller And Sprayer (Misc.) I bought this item NEW. I've used power rollers in the past and they were great. This unit does not push enough paint to the attachments to do any good. At full on it would not get enough paint to the roller to do much more than get the roller wet. I switched to the spray attachment and it's the same. The problem may be in the size of the tubing used to move the paint, just too small. A unit I used a few years ago that worked great had a tube 3 times the size.
I tried to use this for about 30 minutes and then went back to the "manual" method. I'm going to donate this to the local landfill.
One final comment. I found it difficult to squeeze the trigger constantly; took pretty good grip strength so holding it constantly was tiring.
A complete waste of money

paint sprayer, July 13, 2010 By danny r simmons (BROKEN ARROW, OK, US) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned Ryobi ZRFPR300 Duet Power Paint System With Roller And Sprayer (Misc.) I wanted to paint some bedrooms and thought this would be great , as I hate dipping rollers. I was wrong. this unit was completely useless. I did not have enough power to push paint to the attachments and the the cleanup took longer than just using regular paint rollers. The company did accept this back for a full refund so I can't fault them. Ryobi does have some good products just not this one.

Expensive Paper Weight, October 17, 2010 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned Ryobi ZRFPR300 Duet Power Paint System With Roller And Sprayer (Misc.) I got this for my husband when we bought our first home; we were so excited to paint each room together and really make the place our own. We were hoping this product would make the process go more quickly and easily; it did not. The motor gave out after we painted only one room, and my husband (who is very handy) was not able to fix it. We did the rest of the house the old fashioned way, and it was easier than using this product! Now it is an expensive paper weight; we will be dropping this off at the dump on our next trip. Very disappointing! Save your money and purchase something else.
