Having purchased a new large shed to house our tractor, constructed with rough sawn lumber, I saw spraying as the only reasonable way to apply stain. I have a Wagner power roller which I like very much, decided to try a Wagner Power Sprayer. The EZ Tilt worked great, no matter the angle it kept spraying. The only problem was after a gallon and a half I needed to clean the gun, it may have been thet thickness of the Behr Premium solid stain. Clean up is a chore but it does clean up like new. For large jobs I would recommend the accessory tubes to draw from a gallon can or larger.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good low-cost choice, July 5, 2012

I bought this sprayer from a local store, but have picked up a couple of accessories from Amazon. It's a pretty good tool to have, it just take a bit of getting used to. I'm not sure about some of the bad reviews on here, yes it will sputter when the tank runs out, but it's pretty easy to gauge where things are and refill before that happens. As with any atomizing-type paint sprayer, the nozzle will need to be cleaned occasionally (sometimes frequently, depending upon the binding agent in your paint). I sprayed about 1500 square feet of a house, walls and ceilings including, with approx. 15 gallons of Killz oil-based sealer/primer (getting rid of prior owner's smoke smell and residue) and it did a good job. The thing sprayed ceilings like a champ. Just keep paint in the tank and spray the first shot back into a bucket to avoid splatter on the wall and it's good to go.

My only complaint is the capacity of the tank. A larger tank is not really an option, as it would... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Sprayer - could use a bigger tank, April 26, 2012
This review is from: Wagner 0525027 EZ Tilt 6.6 GPH Power Painter Plus featuring Optimus Dual Tip Technology (Tools & Home Improvement)
I used this sprayer to paint the interior of my house. The sprayer works perfectly. If you have never used a sprayer before, be sure to read the manual, spray technique is very important. Also, this should go without saying, but make sure you put plastic on everything, there is going to be a lot of small paint droplettes in the air and they will get on everything in the room.

This thing is fast. I can put a coat of paint on a wall in < 5 minutes. Also, if used properly, overspray isn't a big problem.

My biggest complaint about this particular sprayer is the tank is pretty small. I have to refill it every 2-3 minutes (i.e. about 3 times is a 10x10 room when painting the walls). Make sure you fill the tank before it runs out, because if you get air in the system, it will spray out blotchy paint, and you will have to touch it up with a roller or brush.

All in all, I definately recommend this spayer.
